The doorglass installed by Get The Door! is triple paned. On both sides, you get safety adn tempered glass, and sandwiched in between is all of the fancy glass. The glass is as strong as the windows on a car, and a bad guy would rather go to the back of the house or at least through a regular window on a house.
Also available is "Secure Glass" which is 180% more break through resistant than tempered glass and virtually impossible to break through and 99% UV resistant. |
Triple paned doorglass provides 2 areas of dead air space, which is twice as many as most windows on any home. All our glass is thermally sealed to save energy and insulated to be air and watertight.
Also available as a clear doorglass option, Low-E Comfort E-2 Series is a high performance glass made with an invisible thin metallic coating that blocks heat flow. A proven energy saver, Low-E glass reduces air conditioning cost by reducing solar transmissions in the summer. In winter, it reduces heat loss to the outside and allows energy to pass inside.

Whenever a homeowner wanted decorative glass in their front door, they would go and choose a beautiful style only to find out that they would have to replace not only the door, but also the entire door frame, sidelights, threshold and finally all of ther trim around it as well.

The mobile workshop (trailer) pulls up, removes the hardware from the door, puts the door on the machine, cuts the big hole, replaces the door and hardware, pops in the glass, and cleans up.
